Pepper steak (can use minute steak), slice thin
1/2 cup of soy sauce
1/4- 1/2 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of canola oil
1/2 tsp of fresh ginger, or 1 tsp of ginger spice
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 onions, cut in rings
1 green pepper, in strips
1 red pepper, in strips
Combine soy sauce and sugar. Pour over meat and marinate for about 30 minutes.
Heat oil in skillet, add sugar and ginger. Remove.
Saute onion. Add steak and cook until soft, about 6 minutes.
Add sauce and cook until done.
