2 lbs of meat
1 egg
1/4 cup of breadcrumbs
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of pepper
1/8 tsp of salt
Sauce:
2 onions, chopped
1 Tbs of oil
1 small can of tomato sauce
1/2-3/4 cup of water
1/2 cup of ketchup
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/3 cup of apple cider vinegar
Combine meat ingredients and set aside
In a large pot, saute onions. Add tomato sauce, water, ketchup, brown sugar, sugar and vinegar.
Boil, then reduce to simmer.
Form the meat into meatballs and put into sauce. When all meat immersed in sauce, cover pot and reduce flame to med-low.
Cook for about 45 minutes to one hour.
