lowfat oatmeal cookies
1 c whole wheat or spelt flour
1 c oats
1/3 c organic maple syrup
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c canola oil
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamom
1 whole egg or 2 egg whites
1/2 c raisins or craisins rinsed and dried (optional)
Mix all ingredients together
make into balls and bake aT 350 degrees for 12 minutes
apple crumble
1/2 c veg oil
2 c flour (1 regular and 1 whole wheat)
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
filling:
4 apples thinly sliced sprinkiled with 2 tbsp brown sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon
mix all ingredients together until crumbly and divide in half.
Pat one half into pie shape pyrex and put filling on top and then sprinkle rest of crumbly mixture.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to an hour.
