1/4 cup of yeast
Sugar or honey
4 cups of warm water
4 eggs
1 cup of honey
1 cup of canola oil
5 lb of stone ground flour
2 Tbs of salt (or 1-1/2 Tbs of sea salt)
Put yeast in 1 cup of warm water with 1 tsp of honey. Leave aside. Wait until bubble rise to top.
In another bowl, mix 4 cups of warm water, 4 eggs, 1 cup of honey and 1 cup of oil.
Make a well and push all ingredients against side of bowl. Add 5 lbs of stone ground flour and 2 tbs of salt.
Knead well.
Let dough rise. Knead and confirm that there are no air bubbles.
Braid and let rise for another 45 minutes.
Do not preheat oven.
Bake at 350 for about 45-50 minutes. Watch closely.
